Self Care Sundays

 

Sunday’s are a day of rest, a time to relax, set your intentions and prepare for the week ahead. So incorporating Self Care in to your Sunday afternoon, notably #SelfCareSundays, is a no brainer.

The great thing about Self Care is, it is personalized to you. Whatever you feel that you need to optimize maximum Self Care is important to incorporate in your daily routine. So #SelfCareSundays are the perfect day to ensure that you schedule the necessary time you need to focus solely on you. It will help eliminate feeling exhausted and burned-out and reduce stress; and it is the only way to ensure, that you feel your best, look your best and show up as your best self. Afterall, you simply cannot pour from an empty cup. So, here are a few tips that I use to help with my own personal self care.

  • Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea

  • Detox and exfoliate with a skin care and body care routine

  • Treat yourself to fresh flowers

  • Read a daily devotional

  • Journal

  • Take a nice relaxing bath

  • light some candles

  • listen to a soothing playlist or your favorite podcast

  • Bake your favorite desert

  • Turn your phone off and watch a good movie
